Easter Sunday collection
Sunday, April 12, 2009 at 08:00AM
Since it is Easter Sunday, I have assembled a set of pictures to mark the day. Taken in La Merced and San Lazaro in Antigua Guatemala.
I am also experimenting with a new gallery system that lets me commercialise the images as prints and in many other formats too. Currently the prints are only available in US and Canada but worldwide distribution should be here in a couple of months!

De Lijn is working hard to make it "longer pleasant in the city"....with overnight trams and buses on Friday and Saturday nights.....and there are big plans in motion to put the trams on the Turnhoutsebaan underground.
Whatever you think of all this you have to agree it is spectacular and on a typically Antwerp scale - a bit like the Centraalstation!

2008 was another Asian year (after living in HK during 2005), With V working there for most of the year I made quite a few trips out there. This year will be central America...she is in Mexico for much of the coming few months so when we get breaks it is to places like Guatemala.

I had great fun here in the bus station! The buses are all retired US school buses which are lovingly restored and then driven like mad by the locals here.
Cannot imagine that these ever looked so good up-north.
